Message from our Superintendent, Jennifer Felker:

I want to welcome back the Educational Service Center of the Western Reserve (ESCWR) staff for the 2022-2023 school year and thank you for your hard work and dedication to the students, families, and schools you support in Geauga and Lake counties and beyond.

I am very excited for this school year and want to reiterate our opening day message with a focus on well being and continually reflecting on the amazing impact you have on students daily.  You are so very essential in the lives of our students and the support you offer to families.  I very much appreciate and value all you do for students, families, schools, and community.

Over the past several years, all of you demonstrated your resilience, perseverance, and dedication to our educational profession. I definitely believe our experiences and what we have learned to educate students over these past few years has made us stronger.  It has definitely strengthened relationships and brought us closer to our students, families, and our schools.  

Our ESC is excited to offer new programs and services, as well as welcome our new staff to the our organization.  Our administrative team and central office support staff have once again worked diligently this past year to strengthen our programs and services.  Please take an opportunity to review our website for our professional development and network offerings at escwr.org.

I look forward to visiting classrooms here soon and getting a chance to spend time in our programs/schools.  I wish you the best school year ever and I want to thank you once again for all you do for your students!
