The ESC of the Western Reserve is an integral part of the education system in both Geauga and Lake Counties, and the state. The ESC recognizes that the rapidly changing educational environment in Ohio demands flexibility, innovation, and dynamic leadership. The ESC of the Western Reserve meets the needs of our districts by providing quality programs, services, and learning opportunities that meet the individual and collective needs of the students in our districts. 

The ESC of the Western Reserve strives to support your district's specific needs in a variety of ways. We can deliver sessions in person, virtually, or as a self-paced course to your team.

The Educational Service Center of the Western Reserve (ESCWR), Lake Geauga Computer Association, and the State Support Team of Region 4 (SST4) provide high-quality, personalized services to inspire and support student growth and staff development to educational communities in our region and across Ohio. The ESCWR supports educators of all experience levels, from new educators to aspiring instructional leaders,  as they effectively bring their expertise to the classroom. Consultants coach educators using organizational principles designed to help all students learn, while also allowing for individual variations based on student learning. Understanding that classroom instruction should be tied to Ohio's Learning Standards, Ohio's Academic Content Standards - Extended guides all curriculum work, including shaping approaches to teaching and learning strategies that help students learn the curriculum and develop independent learning skills.
