Exciting Career Opportunity: Auburn Career Center Superintendent

Auburn Career Center in Lake County, Ohio, is searching for a dynamic and visionary Superintendent to lead the district in preparing students for success in career and technical education.

This leadership role offers an opportunity to shape the future of workforce development and education in Northeast Ohio. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in career and technical education, strong relationship-building skills, and a commitment to expanding innovative learning opportunities for students.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Current State of Ohio Superintendent license

  2. Proven leadership in career and technical education

  3. Strong ability to engage with business communities, policymakers, and school districts

  4. Experience in strategic planning and program expansion

  5. High level of professional integrity and strong work ethic


Preferred Experience:

  1. Previous experience as an Ohio school superintendent

  2. Knowledge of Ohio Joint Vocational School funding

  3. Experience in collective bargaining

Summary: We are looking for caring, compassionate individuals to work one-on-one with special needs students as an Educational Aide/Student Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis in our Twinkle program at the Metzenbaum Center in Chesterland. An Educational Aide/Student Assistant provides instructional, physical, and social-emotional assistance in a caring and nurturing environment to meet the unique needs of students with Individual Education Plans. Summary: The ESCWR is searching for a dedicated compassionate individual who is committed to student learning and success to work on a long-term, daily basis as a Floater for the duration of the 2024-2025 school year.
