The School Nutrition Program at the ESC of the Western Reserve allows districts to run their school food service programs in a cost efficient manner while producing quality meals that students enjoy.

The ESC of the Western Reserve's Nutrition Program services districts across Lake and Geauga County including Auburn Career Center, Berkshire, Kenston, Madison, Painesville City, and West Geauga school districts. Available components of the program include the USDA's School Breakfast and Lunch programs, After School Snack Program, Summer Food Service Program, and the ODE's Administrative Review process.

Besides program administration, other services offered include program evaluation, hiring and mentoring of new directors, project planning, and staff development. Our team has started school breakfast and lunch programs in districts that did not previously have one, breakfast program implementation and a mobile summer lunch program.

Nationally, school nutrition programs serve over 30 million children daily. We serve more than just food. We make more successful students, one tray at a time.
