ESCWR Traditional Tutoring
HISTORY OF PROGRAM- Tutoring launched in January 2021 and was made available by a grant from Whole Child at no cost for families. Students from ANY district, non-public school and home school in both Lake and Geauga Counties were welcomed to attend the in-person tutoring services at the Hale Road location. Tutoring was created in response to remediate unfinished learning as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Site based tutoring expanded in Geauga County in 21-22 school year to make engaging in tutoring easier for families. Currently ESCWR traditional tutoring is entering its fourth year of free tutoring services via Extended Learning Grant dollars, and has helped hundreds of students in Northeast Ohio with their academic success!
