What: In this introduction to Canva course, you will be guided through the process of signing up for your own Canva for Education account, walked through the basics of the Canva platform, and equipped with the skills necessary to start using many of Canva’s amazing features. Canva is one of the most versatile and user-friendly design programs available, and the Education version offers its best features for free to school teachers and their students. Creating video slide presentations, animated GIFs, backgrounds for projects, word art, flyers, brochures, and so much more is just a session away. You must bring a laptop or Chromebook and be working directly with students in a classroom (to get Canva for Education, you must prove that you are currently working in a classroom). Based on feedback from the last session, we are offering both a daytime and an after-school training, with each session providing extended time for hands-on practice with the tool.
