Kiya Mirmozaffari joins the ESCWR as a Data Specialist, TESOL Teacher, and EL Program Coordinator. He brings a wealth of experience in analytics, operations, and teaching. His career has spanned roles in public education, non-profit organizations, and edtech companies. He's previously managed partnerships and operations at ParentPowered PBC and at the Carnegie Foundation, and he's served as a public school educator for five years. Kiya’s expertise lies in creating data-informed systems, improving operational efficiency, and organizing cross-functional collaboration.

He's passionate about identifying key innovations and promoting equitable outcomes for students through data analytics and process improvement strategies. Kiya brings a holistic perspective to his work and is dedicated to empowering educators and organizations through actionable insights and collaborative partnerships.

Kiya holds a B.A. in Government and Politics and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Maryland. He is currently pursuing an M.S. in Analytics at Georgia Tech, where he continues to explore the intersections of data, education, and human-centered design. In his free time, Kiya enjoys playing basketball in addition to writing songs, poems, and stories.
