Biographical Information:
Wendy Bartolovich started her position as Early Childhood Coordinator for the Educational Service Center of the Western Reserve in August of 2023. She is passionate about serving children with special needs and supporting their families as they navigate the special education realm. Wendy strives to be a source of support for the families and staff she works with each day.

Wendy began her career in special education in 2006 after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Sciences from Kent State University. Graduating as an intervention specialist, she started her work in the field as a teacher of students with autism in Warren, Ohio. She continued her special education career transferring to Chardon Local Schools in 2008 where she served as an educator for students with varying degrees of disabilities for the next fifteen years.

Wendy earned a Master’s degree in Reading Specialization from Kent State University and holds a reading endorsement from the state of Ohio. She has completed coursework from The Ohio State University in the area of Visual Impairments while participating in a summer internship at The Ohio State School for the Blind. In May of 2023, Wendy earned her administrative degree from Youngstown State University and holds a principal license for students in preschool through sixth grade.
