Career Ready! Set! Go!
Join Geauga Growth Partnership, the ESC of the Western Reserve, and Ohio Means Jobs as we invite counselors, teachers, and administrators for this full-day experience focused on preparing youth for post-high school career success. Our morning will have attendees engaging in meaningful conversation with colleagues around work-based learning in your district or on your campus, be introduced to free curricular resources for grades 6-12 focusing on the career development cycle and participating in modeled lessons. The remainder of the day will be dedicated to live field experiences where we will tour businesses across Geauga County and explore careers, knowledge and skills needed for workplace success, and the kinds of in-demand opportunities available to our youth upon graduation regardless of career pathway.
NEOEA Day is an initiative of the Business Advisory Council of Geauga County, a partnership between Geauga Growth Partnership, the ESC of the Western Reserve, and Ohio Means Jobs.
