These trainings are offered for teachers, any and all school staff, school counselors, social workers, and administrators in order to provide basic education and information about LGBTQ+ youth.
Topic: Supporting Transgender Students
This session will educate you on trans specific language. What does being transgender mean? Understanding trans youth, and how to support them.
Objectives:
Learn about the complexity of the transfgender youth in order to best this support student in school
Learn about what transgender means and the transition for a transgender student–how do we support a transgender student in transition?
