Who: Educators, Counselors & Administrators, Grades 6-12

What: By 2025 Northeast Ohio is poised to experience the widest gap of labor demand between those leaving their positions and an incoming workforce with a lack of educational attainment or certifiable skill needed to meet the demand. In parallel, ODE has released new graduation requirements that aim to be more inclusive and supportive of all students' post-secondary success through a greater emphasis on technical and professional certification of skills. With that in mind, Geauga Growth Partnership invites you, the Educator, Counselor, Administrator, to join us for this engaged and resource heavy session focusing on each pillar of career development - Awareness and Exploration, Readiness to Experience, and how GGP supports schools through an annual suite of in-person and hybrid programming, and their newest offering - free access to an online career readiness portal, complete with lessons, activities, and supplemental resources under each of the pillars and including youth entrepreneurship.
