Meant to be a platform school, the teachers and students will be sharing their lessons learned with teachers and students throughout the district. The physical school was purchased from Eaton Corporation and came with gorgeous furniture, some of which will give upcoming middle and high school students the type of environment where they can gather and discuss their latest projects, etc. Project based learning is the focus of the new school and the first students will be third, fourth, and fifth graders from Willoughby-Eastlake schools. Believed to be the only STEM elementary school in Ohio, this school will serve as a prototype for others should they wish to replicate it.
