2015-16 STEM Series Kicks Off at Lake Erie College
Adam and his team from Fred's Appliance Academy talked about how they built a traditional mom and pop business into a 21st Century training academy.  Trainees do no incur any personal expenses as they work remotely and use company trucks and gas cards.  After a three-week intensive training, they are trained to work on and repair a multitutde of appliances -- and there is a need all over the country for this type of skill.  100% of students who go through Fred's Appliance Academy obtain jobs in the business.  For more information, follow this link to Fred's Appliance Academy

Please join us for the next in the Speaker Series on Thursday, March 19.  Steve Thompson, Superintendent of Willoughby-Eastlake Schools will be talking about their new STEM school, Willoughby-Eastlake School of Innovation.  The new STEM school will fuse together STEM curriculum and instructional practices.
